2024 5th & 6th Tackle Football Information:

The 2024 Tackle football registration is now closed.
 
​​​*First day of practice is on August 19th from 6pm-7:30pm with a parent meeting starting at 7:30pm. Practice and parent meeting will be held on the practice field behind GIS and the board office. Players must have their physicals and a mouth guard to attend. Please see the calendar below for practice times, game schedule will be available soon. 
 

• Gaylord 5-6 Tackle is for athletes who are coming into these grades. Please see the Middle school tab for more information regarding your 7th grader. 

• Teams will be chosen by balancing skill and number of players per team. This will take priority over friend/coach requests.

After you have registered-

• Schedule a physical for your child. Every TACKLE player must have a physical completed in 2024 (After April 15th). Players cannot practice without a physical. 

• Find football cleats for your player. We do have a box of donated cleats, sizes vary. 

• We recommend you purchase a chin strap for your player, this is not required. 

• Mouth guards are mandatory for play. NO CLEAR MOUTHGUARDS. We recommend mouth guards that strap to the face mask.
